Name: Sharpwhisker
Rank: Loner
Age: 27 moons
Gender: Tom
Clan: He wanders around all of the Clans, but he originally came from GlacierClan
Kin/Mate: Carkpaw, (EmberClan) Patchkit, Sorrelkit, Swiftkit, Thornkit, Lionkit (StreamClan) are all his kits. StreamClan kit's mother is Mousefoot. Carkpaw's mother, unknown.
Pelt: Sharpwhisker is a deep brown tabby. His fur is extremely thick, which comes from living, literally, on a glacier. It's a bit of a pain in the hotter months, but can come in handy during leaf-bare.
The tom doesn't actually have very many stripes, though a few scars can be mistaken for some. The thickest dark brown streak starts on his nose, branching out into smaller stripes about his ears. There are some on his back, but they're thinner than most. His front legs are free of any darker markings, but he actually has a dark brown sock on his left hind leg. The tom's tail is banded with stripes, resembling a ring-tailed-cat.
One large scar runs down Sharpwhisker's left side, from a bad encounter with a leopard seal. He has two on his right foreleg from a fall he took as an apprentice, jumping for a gull that was smart enough to move. Any other scars are too thin to see, but life on the ice is rather rough, and he has plenty of them.
Eyes: Sharpwhisker's eyes are a very deep hazel. The right eye is actually a bit lighter than the left, though it would take a good deal of staring to spot it. It was found that during the aurora, his eyes would glow an odd red, rather than green like the rest of the cats.
Personality: The tom can't really be called...shy, per say. In fact, he's quite outgoing. He always loves meeting new friends, and will talk to just about anyone. However, Sharpwhisker is...terrified, to say the least, of having the responsibility of a father. Sure, that's not much in a Clan, but as a loner, he would be expected to teach any kits of his the way of the land. The tom is almost afraid that he'll pass on every one of his bad attributes (though there are less than he thinks.) to his children. Therefore, he has no trouble getting close to a she-cat...but if it ever comes to kits, he chickens out and will take the first opportunity to leave. Even so, he cares for his kits, and would do whatever he could to help them. He just wants nothing to do with bringing them up.
Having grown up in a Clan, Sharpwhisker is a follower of StarClan, but considering there's no traditions out of the Clans, he doesn't really get much into the whole thing. He figures that he can make his own way, and if StarClan wants to change something, they're free to.
History: Sharpwisker originally came from a Clan that's all but unknown to everyone else. GlacierClan, which lies, as it says, on a large chunk of ice, is far south of the fiery Clans. The tom grew up there through his apprenticeship, until realizing it really was not the right place for him...He left the ice to wander the dry land. The tom soon came upon the StreamClan area, settling down there for a while. At one point, he requested to join the Clan, but was turned down. He lived right on the border, though, just far enough away so that the Clan cats couldn't drive him away. Without quite realizing it, Sharpwhisker grew fairly close to a she-cat in the Clan, but then grew rather worried about being found out, and left.
Traveling further north, the tom came upon the fiery Clans. Once again, he attempted to join one of them, EmberClan, but again, was turned away. Living on the border again, he went further in a 'relationship' than intended, and the she-cat gave birth to one small tom. Terrified of trying to raise him, the mother disappeared, leaving Sharpwhisker with his son. Desperate, the tom brought the tiny gray kit to EmberClan. He begged the leader, that if they wouldn't accept him, to at least accept his son. The kit was adopted by a queen who still carried milk, and Cark-kit was finally accepted as a member of EmberClan.
Sharpwhisker left the area, heading back to StreamClan. Staying in the same place as before, he spent his days wandering around the border of the Clan, just outside so as not to be detected. Despite his efforts, however, the loner was found by Mousefoot, his old friend, and began meeting her on the border fairly frequently. Of course, just as his luck, the tom took things farther than intended, and soon fathered five kits. He was thankful that this time at least their mother kept them. He was terrified of being caught, though, and stayed a bit further from the border than usual, mainly keeping to his den.
Nowadays, Sharpwhisker will migrate from StreamClan to EmberClan, moving up north as the weather turns cooler. He never actually enters the Clan borders anymore, but can often spot his kits as they go about their lives. The tom sometimes wonders if they ever ask about their father, but he keeps himself from revealing himself to them...it would only cause more complications.
Other: Sharpwhisker's name actually comes from the tom's exceedingly long whiskers. Unlike most, they're actually quite thick, and are great for feeling changes in the wind...though it's so far unknown as to where that will get any cat.
