Legend Four: The legend of the coming of the Fiery Clans
((This legend was written by Eternal. No one else claims ownership over this legend))
The Arrival of the Fiery Clans
The next day, they came. They entered by way of the burnt meadows, glancing menacingly at the wounded cats of MeadowClan. They were led by a dark gray cat, huge and unbearable to look at. He looked quite normal, up to his face. There was a white marking on his forehead, one that was shaped like a mountain. It seemed to emit the feeling of evil, like his violet eyes. Those horrible violet eyes. It was a group of cats quite unlike any the MeadowClan cats had seen before. He was closely followed by two stark white cats who seemed to be guards. The rest of the cats lay in a long line, winding after the gray cat toward the mountain. The line seemed to be from rank, all the evilest, most fiery cats at the front, with a few almost normal cats at the very back. Though they payed no attention to her, Meadowstar limped up to the leader of the line as dignified as she could, and looked into his violet eyes without fear. Her yellow eyes almost matched his intensity. She spoke. "What are you doing on our land?! You have no right to be here, to invade like this." The leader looked into her eyes, no emotion playing on his face. She persisted. "You've come to invade when we are weakest, but you will fail. You must know nothing of our ways, or StarClan. They shall help us if it comes to a battle." The leader studied the brave MeadowClan leader. Then, for the first time, he spoke. He spoke in a voice so terrible, so deafening, it reminded the cats of the rumbles of the volcano. "Ha ha ha! StarClan is small in comparison to the great Flaming Eternal. I am Eternalfire, and this is our territory now. You have dared to confront me, so you shall die!" The last word echoed in the mountains. Then, before she could move, Meadowstar was pinned to the ground by the white cats, blood flowing through her fur from the wound Eternalfire had marked her with. She lay silently as she died. A wale of grief rose among the MeadowClan cats, sorrowful for their leader. They fell back, unwilling to get close now as the column slowly marched past the still body of Meadowstar, not glancing twice at her or her hurt Clan.
