Pelt: Darkpool is a strikingly beautiful she-cat whose pure blueish-black tabby pelt is glossy and sleek. Her fur is so well-groomed that it looks almost like it could be that of a well-fed kittypet's. There is no tuffet standing out anywhere on her shiny black pelt. Since her pelt is so shiny, when she gets close to lava it seems to turn almost red in the beautiful glow the lava eminates. Her gorgeous looks can also be quite intimidating, so not many toms approach her. Her fur is short and very smooth to the touch. Her black pelt even seems to make her shine in the moon's rays that shine down upon the Clan.
Eyes: A deep, mystic, dull emerald green. A very misty shade of green that looks almost gray in the dark, and yet they glow a dull emerald color when she lurks in the shadows. Even if her face is expressionless, it is easy to tell her emotions by looking into her captivating eyes. The seem to sparkle with excitement, or gleam with anger, or even turn an even more blank shade of gray when she is sad. A sad green-gray that can seem almost depressingly blank in sorrow.
Personality: Even though Echopool's looks can be intimidating, her personality is ten times more shocking. She is many different personalities. From moody and hot-headed to emotionless and mysterious, the way Echopool thinks is a never ending stream of emotions, expressions, and different ways of feeling. Echopool is very hard to figure out since she hops personalities quite a bit, but one thing is for sure, and that is that she is very versatile and can change emotions to any time, any minute, of any day depending on the air of the moment. If it's an uncomfortable, she's very quiet but sometimes tries to clear the air by saying something to change the subject. If it's a feel of depression around, Echopool can mimick that feel in the air and be just as sad. Her mixed feelings sometimes make it hard for any cat to reach out to her and try to be friends, but she does love having her friends and clanmates by her side, even if she doesn't show it much.
History: Echopool never knew her mother, but supposably she was a gentle she-cat who never did any wrong in her life.. at least, according to Echopool's father, Hawktalon. Hawktalon never told Echopool much about her mother or what ever happend to her. For all she knows, her mother may still be alive somewhere. She doesn't even know her mother's name. Not knowing about her mother made her bitter, though, and having her own father not tell her just made it worse.
One day, at the lava point of the volcano, Echopool and her father were talking about Echopool's mother, but, she was only Echopaw at the time. Echopaw was mad at her father for not telling her about her family and yelled at him, running off near the volcano's edge. Hawktalon was scared that his only surviving kit from his mate's litter would fall, so he ran after Echopaw. But, in running, he slipped off the side of the volcano, dangling over the edge by his forepaws. Echopaw turned when she heard her father crying for help, and ran back, but by then it had been too late. Just moments before Echopool had gotten there, her father had fallen into the magma to his death. Echopool had been scarred for life after that moment, and never forgot it. She wishes she only knew who her mother was and where she was, hoping she was- or is, a good she-cat and it'd cleanse her family's sins since her grandfather was a very evil cat who tried to take over the forest.
