OOC: Yeah, he hadn't blown up yet.... YET... -Shifty eyes-
Amberheart opened her mouth to reply to Roantail but paused, realizing she wasn't really sure to do either. Her ears twitched curiously. Yeah, what were they going to do now? Amberheart didn't really want to go back yet either. There was so much she wanted to see and do outside of the volcano! Was it bad to feel that way, even if it wasn't intentional? Amberheart already knew that Molten wanted to get out of the volcano and back to her home, but what about Roantail? Did he have the same adventurous feelings about this that she had?
Amberheart frowned and turned to face Molten. Her tail accidentally, but very softly, batted at Roantail's side when it whipped around with her. (Did this so Amberheart could have a little more interaction in this post than just her ears twitching once and having her turn around.) "Sorry.." She whispered and then looked up at Molten. "What do you think, Molten? What do you think we should do? After all, you are the 'expert' and know much more than we do about the outside of the volcano..." It was only logical to ask Molten for the answers.

*post for the sake of posting*
Roantail nodded excitedly, and awaited Molten's response. Perfect! Of course, she would agree to stay out here. Had Amberheart asked Roantail's opinion, he would have had to tell them to return--he was, after all, Eternalstorm's brother, which made his actions doubly sacrilegious. But Molten? She wanted to stay! She must! And naturally, he would have to go with them. Naturally.

(Um you guys didnt even notice Phantom?)
Molten struck the strange cat's face to shoo him away before turning to her Clan-mates. "We should stay out here more. This air is so breathable and refreshing," Molten meowed, "And we should also go to another location or something... I think we're being stalked." Molten backed away and gave Phantom an evil, suspicious glare. `And now she was worrying about her food. She ran up to her food and kicked sand on it to bury it. "That food better stay there," she muttered to nobody in particular. She felt a cold wind whipping her fur.. another lesson about the outside world... "That cold... whatever it is is wind. It feels like a cat attacking you with their tail, doesn't it? But just colder..." she explained. She wondered if her Clan-mates would have any idea about what shes talking about.

ooc: i thought it might be Phantom but I didn't want to take the chance of powerplaying. ) = Technically he's over in SootClan still, and Causti still hasn't really said anything about bringing him over here. Let's stall a little bit. At least have a little adventure. bic:
Roantail held his nose in the air and sniffed. He supposed this was "cold"; his insides tingled and a shiver ran down his spine. A buffet of air raced past him and ruffled his fur, dislodging and carrying away several clumps of ash. It was an unsual feeling, but not something that he disliked. As he concentrated on the whipping of "wind" against his face, he heard Molten mewing, but barely registered what she'd said. Some new vocabulary words and innocent mutterings, perhaps. He wasn't sure. "Yes," he replied absently to the she-cat. "Yes, let's go somewhere. Is there any way we can get clean?" After even those few cinders had been swept away from his pelt, he felt better and refreshed. He ached to get his fur back to its original coloring, but the traditional cleansing methods took too long, and the ash tasted repulsive and made him gag. Perhaps a place with more "wind," or this "water" Molten had spoken of. Anything for that special feeling.

Amberheart gave a pathetic little squeak and coughed out some soot and ash. She tried shaking some of the dark substance out of her fur, but the smell only made her sneeze. "Y-yeah.." Amberheart choked out, brushing a paw over her muzzle. "I think getting clean would be a pretty good idea," Amberheart began and took a small pause before going on. "It's so much clearer out here. Not foggy with soot and smoke and ash... I think we kind of stick out.." She blinked a few times to squint some soot out of her vision.

Molten felt important for a change, yet was confused on how Amberheart suddenly suffered from her filth. Apparently she just now noticed how dirty she was? "Well you know you can just lick yourself, right?" she said, looking at her Clanmates like they were doofuses or something. "But if you want to clean yourself even more, then jump into a puddle of water. You'll just be extremely cold afterwards." She showed an example on a nearby puddle. "There's a way to clean yourself without being that cold though," Molten pointed out. She dipped her paws in the water and rubbed her paw on the dirtiest parts of her pelt. If she directly rolled around in the water, she would almost freeze to death.

Roantail was unaware of this verb known as "freezing," so when given the opportunity to dive head-first into a "puddle" of "water," he was going to take it. He took a few steps backward, his feet sloshing in this weird mixture of "water" and a thick, "cold," ash-like substance, then bolted forward and flattened himself onto his belly, skidding a few tail-lengths down the mountain slope until plowing directly into this "puddle." It's "water" particles sprayed out everywhere and covered his pelt like soot, but that wasn't the problem. "COLD!" he shrieked, finally discovering exactly what the word meant, and leapt a foot in the air before desperately making his way to dry land. His fur was stuck to his flank and the "water" fell like lava droplets to the ground before finally petering out. His body had never undergone such shock, but after a moment, he realized something. He felt lighter. As thought he could fly away, as though he could leap higher than any cat and cross entire dozens of tail-lengths in a single bound. No more ash clung to his pelt, and he was happy. Clean was good.

Amberheart watched as Roantail swiftly slid into the water with a splash. She scooted back a step as the small droplets splattered all around, only a couple actually hitting her. Amberheart awkwardly shuffled away from Roantail, who obviously just now realized the feeling of actually being freezing. She smirked and stiffled a giggle as she stared at the soaked cat, water against his pelt and the parts of fur that had gotten wet clinging to his skin.
"Not a very pleasent start.... I'll have to pass on diving head-first in and just do it how Molten did it." Amberheart commented to noone really in particular. She slunk her way towards the puddle, her mint green eyes gazing at it nervously. After sniffing it a bit, she cautiously crawled into the water, sitting down near the edge and brushing her dampened paws along her shoulders. Amberheart purred at the newfound feel of this "Water" substance as it dripped against her, enjoying the cool sensation that trickled down her fur. It did make her flinch a few times when it got to a more sensitive spot like her spine, but then she just continued to rub herself down like it barely phased her.
"This stuff's pretty interesting, Roantail. Nice, though. Very nice!" She started to laugh as the vision of Roantail diving in flew through her mind again. After making sure the dirt was all scrubbed off, Amberheart crawled out of the water and shook her fur dry. She ran her tounge over her mane a few times, noticing that her pelt didn't reek of soot and ashy stenches, and also that the white spots of her tortoishell designs were much more clear rather than a dusty gray and brown color. She glanced down at her reflection in the water and suddenly frowned at seeing the scar over her eye. It looked terrible, even though it had stopped bleeding. It ran all the way down her cheek. Amberheart heaved a sigh and dipped a single paw in the water again, splashing it over her eye to clean out the still-fresh-wound.

Roantail sat down and began to lick his fur dry. Amberheart, of course, chose a much more graceful route to cleanliness, which Roantail admired. His brazen head-first-ness was not exactly... intelligent. He watched her from the corner of his eye and hoped that Molten would post because he didn't really know what to do.

(Sorry! I MISS YOU SOOO MUCHH TnT)
Molten was kind of getting worried now. Like, really worried. Expecially because she cared about her Clanmates. Surprising, hmm? They've been out here for a long time, perhaps some of the kittehs inside the volcanos were starting to get suspicous! Molten really wanted the best for her Clanmates, and they'd be dead if Eternalstorm figured out what they were doing. After lapping up some water, she told her Clanmates, "Uh, I think you guys should go back inside the volcano. I'll stay outside, but I, uh, care about you both and I don't want Eternalstorm to be mad at you guys," she sheepily stuttered. Perhaps that made her sound weak? And her wobbly legs and fast heartbeat showed emberrassing signs of fear that probably made her seem even weaker. Since it couldn't get much worse, she shyly added, "Uh... maybe I can go with you? Into the volcano? Or maybe we can stay out here some longer and make the best of every minute until we get cought, so we'd at least die with knowledge, or we could run far away and live out here forever? If that's okay with you guys??" Molten was surprised at herself. Actually loving? ACTUALLY thinking with her heart? Was that even possible for a cat like herself? She used to be a murderer for dung's sake! However, a part of her liked this feeling. It made up for never having a mother........ now memories of her mother were coming into Molten's mind, so she shook them off, but the voices wouldn't stop.
Whatever, Molten thought, that was the past and I've changed into a much better soul. She now understood her purpose of life, besides destroying the other Clans.
(I MISS YOU GUYS SOOO MUCH! VOLCANIC FLAMES GIVES ME MEMORIES OF WHEN I WAS NINE! THAT WAS SO REFRESHING TO TYPE! SORRY MY ROLEPLAYING SUCKS!)

ooc: I wish I was nine..... Haha I missed you too. <3 <4 <5 "Listen to your heaaaaaaaaaart, Joey Molten! Listen to your heaaaaaaaart. Comb your hair and smile, that's a staaaaaaaaart." bic:
Roantail blinked in surprise. Molten's words made his legs feel fluid, and his heart skipped a beat (ooc: even though it wasn't dancing to a waltz in 4/4 time). He'd never pegged Molten as a sensible cat; she seemed hardly the type to get sentimental. Still, judging by her words and the genuine worry in her voice, the strange new BlazeClanner actually cared about her Clanmates--or, at least, about Roantail and Amberheart. He bit his lower lip and waited for her to finish speaking, his stomach flip-flopping. He knew he should be feeling something, like admiration or pride or at the very least relief that she wasn't going to kill him, but he couldn't get past the tense awkwardness. Perhaps it was only him, but the sheepish motions of Molten only made him feel... odd. Even worse was her quick correction, as though her initial opinion didn't matter, it wasn't good enough, she had to say what they wanted to hear. Roantail didn't particularly care at the moment where they went next. He liked it outside in the cool fresh air, but knew full well that Eternalstorm would be outraged to find out they'd escaped. How they would avoid the wrath of the Flaming Eternal, he didn't know, but the thought hardly crossed his mind. He could only feel guilt for not opening up to Molten as she clearly wanted to open up to them. Unfortunately, Roantail was not a very sensible cat--he had far too much sense for that. He felt little pitter-patters of emotions, but never anything extensive like this. His mouth fell open slightly as he tasted the air, and his tail thrashed back and forth in aggravation; he didn't know how to express himself! How distressing! "Well," he muttered, knowing he must say something, "of course, we could return to the volcano, if that's what you want. I don't know that Eternalstorm will miss us, necessarily. I, erm..... I just.... Well, it's nice out here, isn't it? ...Molten?" The she-cat seemed completely lost in thought, and there was a slight sparkle in her eyes that implied a flash-back. Roantail longed to know more of her history--he felt as though he hardly knew her at all--but he didn't dare ask. When she was ready, she'd tell, sooner or later.

Amberheart stared at Molten for a moment in utter silence and awe. She.. did care...? She, like Roantail, could almost feel her heart skip a beat. The she-cat licked her maw and glanced at Roantail awkwardly, before returning her attention back to Molten. Amberheart suddenly smiled and flicked Molten's shoulder affectionately with the tip of her tail. "Well, Molten... it's great to think that you actually care.. I haven't had someone to speak with me so..." Amberheart paused, "..Openly... in such a long time. Just... thank you for that." Even though Amberheart was a sweet and sensitive little thing, she was never really considered one to pour out her emotions. It was a little difficult, but Amberheart managed a smile. She parted her jaws ever-so-slightly to soak in the now warm scents both of the cats carried, purring softly. It was nice to feel wanted and... needed for once.
Since Amberheart realized Molten seemed rather lost in her own train of thoughts and swirl of memories, she looked at Roantail nervously as her whiskers twitched. He seemed rather awkward about the whole thing just now as well, but the at least he was trying to open up to the she-cat also...

Molten shifted uncomfortably at the responses. "Uh, okay, we'll stay out here, and since we are, do you want to explore the other Clans' territories?" Molten said, eyes going from confused to evil. Maybe she can wash away the feelings of 'I CANT BELIEVE I SAID THAT' and the odd feel of innocence by kidnapping a few cats from there, or eating the kittens. Now Molten changed her mind about going back inside, her heart was now beating fast not from fear, but excitement and she kept pacing around to release some of her energy. If she didn't, Molten would probably become numb and feel like she's flying, like she normally does.
