O.K., now in order for things to run smoothly, we need rules, right? Right. These are the rules for Volcanic Flames (V2). If you break the rules, Administrators can use the warning system. If you don't know what that is, good. That means no one has ever given you a warning. These are the rules:
1. NO godmoding or powerplaying
In case you don't know, Godmoding means that you create a perfect character who never does anything wrong and never gets hurt. Powerplaying means that you control someone else's character. If you need to powerplay during an attack, arrange it with the other person and PM an admin about it. Otherwise, these things are ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED!
2. At least five well-written sentences per post
Nobody likes one-line posts. If you don't have five lines of role play to write, wait until you do.
3. NO chatspeak
Chatspeak makes you sound illiterate. I'm sorry, but it's true. Please do not use chatspeak EVER. Period. The end.
4. Use the spell-check!
There is a reason there is a spell-check button at the bottom of the post page! Use it! Yes, on every post; it takes about three seconds, because most likely you don't have any errors anyway.
5. Use proper grammar
Please attempt to use correct grammar. I know that spell-check will not catch it, but at least try.
6. Post once a week
Please post once a week at the very least. If you can't, post a notice, so that everyone knows you haven't abandoned us.
7. Use OOC
Self-explanatory. You can use ooc:,//, whatever you like, so long as you use SOME kind of ooc when role playing.
8. Don't be mean
Seriously, being mean is just unacceptable. We need to keep everything friendly so that we can role play. If you think someone is being rude to you, tell them to knock it off, or report it to an admin. Nasty people are just...ew.
9. No swear words
I know that swearing is basically a part of everyday life, but when you're on VF just...don't. Some people do not talk like that and you could really offend them.
10. NO sexual content
We don't need to know. This site is for everyone. End of story.
11. NO overly graphic battle sequences
You can fight, but no detailed descriptions of your cat ripping the other cat's guts out. Ew.
12. Have fun!
Tell me how many times you've heard this one. ;D But really, role playing is not like homework or a job. You're supposed to enjoy it. Have fun!
