Games?

On every other RPG site I've joined, there is a board for games. Word games and such. It's really handy because it gives people somewhere to mingle without having to deal with conversation topics, actual RP, etc. So that when I'm on waiting for people to post [caugh-smokeh-and-darkie-caugh] and nobody's posted anything wonderful on the general chat board, I can do SOMETHING on here without sitting and staring at a blank screen. Does that make any sense? Gives people somewhere else to skulk around so they can say they've been on even if there's nothing to write. *glares at everyone else*

Anyway, I'd just post games in the General section, but it's handier if there's a separate board or sub-board for them, so I thought I'd post an inquiry, petition, general whiny complaint, or whatever else you want to call it, here first. *cute puppydog face* pweeeeze?

I like the idea, and I was almost thinking of something like it myself... my only problem with it is: people seem to spend more time on ooc boards than bic boards. You know as well as anyone that we have a lack of roleplaying right now... But I'm good with it, if that's what you think we should do.
...It would be kind of cool if we could password protect that section and you can only get in if you've posted a roleplay... (= But that's probably pretty extreme, even though it would be nice to give the roleplayers a reward and the people who have yet to roleplay an incentive. I don't know if you can even do that, though. Anyhow, I want to see what everyone else thinks...

Well, you can make it so posts in a certain board don't count towards your post total...Dunno if that would do much, but at least people couldn't go in there and rack up posts when they hadn't done anything in the roleplay.

I like that - not able to play games unless you post, or Lighty's dont-count-some-posts thing too. I think it would be nice.
