Name: Ravensoul
Rank: Leader
Age: 23 Moons
Gender: Tomcat
Clan: SootClan
Kin: Needed
Mate: Jadedtail
Apprentice: Open (His firstborn tomcat)
Pelt: Even shadows are not as dark as the pelt of the SootClan leader. Much of his fur is black, vivid and regal in its entirety. It is of a mediocre length and styling, not short and sleek but not long and wild. His belly, however, is a perfectly contrasting white, very pure and untainted. It also covers his paws and the tip of his long, proud tail. Only the soot seems to rest on his fur, adding to his majesty. Only the best for the leader of SootClan. (The twolegs would call him a Tuxedo cat.)
Eyes: Ravensoul’s eyes are deep and mysterious. An iris of yellow surrounds his dark pupil, but it also appears to be blended with a light shade of green. Both this and the aura they emit can be perplexing to the Pelts around him.
Personality: Ravensoul is obviously a particularly spiteful cat. While being able to talk to any Pelt of his Clan, he is clearly uninterested in what the she-cats have to say. When he does listen to them, however, they tend to easily get on his nerves and he turns very sarcastic and impatient. However, when compared to the previous leaders of SootClan, he is probably the least biased when it comes to punishing a she-cat. That doesn’t make him unbiased, however, and their consequence is still greater than that of a tomcat’s. His hatred doesn’t stop there, however. When it comes to the kits of his Clan, he doesn’t give a care. He treats them just as he would a she-cat, no matter their gender; for example, if they pounced on his tail, he would probably throw them halfway across the camp without giving it a single thought. They have to become an apprentice to gain even the slightest bit of respect from him. And of course, as any fiery Clan cat does, he despises TimberClan. However, what no cat seems to know about Ravensoul is that he can and does feel guilt. This is very rare, though, as there is only one way to get him to feel such an emtion: bow your head, look at him from the top of your eyes, and appear hurt. If he sees this on any cat, he immediately slows down and rethinks his choice. He rarely goes back on a decision, however, and never apologizes. If they can’t handle his words, they aren’t strong enough. When you get past the hatred (which indeed covers much of his personality), you come across even more haze and dark habits. For starters, he is very secretive. He will tell his Clan anything that involves them, but as for individual information like deaths and births, well, they’re just going to have to find out at a Clan meeting. He also happens to be fairly insensitive with this thing they call “love,” which he understands about as well as this “StarClan” TimberClan always talks about. Really, about the only thing that helps him in his leadership duties is his ability to make decisions fairly quickly. Of course, this isn’t always a great thing; he tends to follow his heart more than his head, which does not make for victories won unscathed.
History: Ravenpaw had a pretty normal apprenticeship, since he was raised by his father as every leader’s firstborn son had been. He didn’t interact much with the kits or apprentices, which could have resulted in his hostility toward the little guys. Nothing particularly interesting has happened, except for a couple of random raids and battles on TimberClan.
Other: Ravensoul’s father died (rather early in his life) just four moons ago, so he hasn’t been leader for long.
