[glow=orange,2,300]IgnitedClan Traditions[/glow]
These are the traditions of IgnitedClan, who live on an island in the middle of the lake. Since they are the farthest away from the volcano, and have no immediate neighbors, the other Clans think that they are weaklings. However, they are just as deadly as the others; maybe even more so.
((The general customs were written by Eternal. No one else claims them.))
General Customs
If there is a cat with Flaming Eternal given powers, they must join BlazeClan.
The members of the fiery Clans are not called cats, but Pelts.

Rank Ceremonies
Becoming an Apprentice
A kit can become an apprentice once its reached its fifth moon. When the leader sees fit, a pelt is hidden within the camp. The kit must then use its tracking skill to find this target in half an hour. If it cannot find it in time, it has to wait until next sun.
Becoming a Pelt
Once an apprentice has been training for six moons, he must go out into the forest and search for the Heat Vent for one week. He must live on his own for said period of time, with no help from any other cat. In fact, if any other cat hears him in his journey, he must be turned in to the leader and must wait another moon before he can try again. If any cat were to find the heat vent, they would automatically become leader.
Becoming a Deputy
On the night after the deputy is announced, he must make a solitary journey to the Rabbit Warren in TimberClan territory and steal one of the rabbits. BUT he cannot yet eat the prey. He must take it back to his Clan and have the leader inspect it for TimberClan scent. When it is approved, the new deputy is the first to take a bite, and then the other IgnitedClan pelts must share it in mockery.
Becoming a Leader
Once the previous leader has died, the current deputy must take control. The night after the loss, the deputy must travel to Exile Island and sleep there beneath the watchful eyes of both the guards and the flaming eternal. Come morning, he must rise before the prisoners, both living and dead, and declare: "I, _____soul, come before my ancestors to declare my undying loyalty to my Clan. May they guide me and keep my decisions just, helping me to right your wrongs and weed out the Pelts from the cats!"
Becoming a Medicine Cat
In order for a medicine cat apprentice to become a medicine cat, the previous one must have joined the ranks of the Flaming Eternal. Upon this cat's death, the new cat must journey into the forest to find the rare and desired cat mint, used for curing green/whitecough. The previous Medicine Cat must have vowed upon their rank never to tell where the cat mint may be found.
Becoming a Medicine Cat Apprentice
Once a kit has reached its fifth moon, it can become a medicine cat apprentice. A pelt in the Clan must volunteer to feign sickness - but the apprentice must not know this. However, it must be able to tell that the cat is not actually sick. If it can't determine this, then it is not the destined apprentice.
Becoming an Elder
In order to become an elder, a pelt must have served IgnitedClan for 48 moons, including apprenticeship (there may be circumstantial exceptions). The Clan leader will decide when a cat is ready and will conduct the ceremony.
Other Traditions
Death
Once a Pelt has died, it is taken to the middle of camp for all of the cats to share tongues with it. Once everyone is satisfied, the newest Pelt tells the leader where it suspects the heat vent is, and the cat is brought in that direction for a day's journey, and then it is buried. If the cat was unpopular and of very little rank, it is buried in Exile Island.
Taking In Prisoners
When a cat is determined an enemy to the Clan, two of the Pelts take the new prisoner to Exile Island, where two guard cats are waiting. They force the incoming cat into a pre-dug pit, where they guard it until its death.
